Cutting groove aims to creat a free surface and provide a free space for the large-scale mining. The cutting groove excavation directly affects the continuity and balance of underground mine production. At present, the cutting slots are widely tunneled by artificial excavation, a few mine adopt the traditional RBM whose security, efficiency, environmental protection cannot meet the requirement of modern large and medium-sized mining production.
